Downtown Muncie is the key to the quality-of-life for Muncie Indiana, Delaware County and the surrounding region. Downtown Development is action-oriented and is empowered to address, through its public/private partnerships, issues that create a strong, vibrant, growing and friendly Downtown.
Downtown Development is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that is proactive, vision oriented, and a market-driven organization dedicated to the development and redevelopment of Muncie's Central Business District.
Downtown Development is governed by the Heart of the City Board of Directors. Downtown Development is led by an executive director, in addition to, a program manager.
