Enjoy Edible Science Month at the Muncie Children's Museum
Visit the Muncie Children's Museum and experience something new everyday. Daily programming is held Tuesday - Saturday at 11:00 am and 3:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm. February is Edible Science month and all activities include conducting experiments with every day food.

Mitchell Place Gallery is partnering with the Ball State University Library’s Archives and Special Collections to exhibit a set of photographs depicting local African American history. This special exhibit , Celebrating Local African American History: Photos from the Middletown Archives is a part of the Gallery’s celebration of Black History Month and will be on display from February 2-15 at the Gallery, 301 S. Walnut, Suite 102 in Muncie.

the Artist Within: featuring Mark Gardner exhibits his paintings, mixed media drawings and other mediums.
the Artist Within: each Wednesday from 3:30-5pm for 8 weeks classes by local potter Toren Scott, teaching Introduction to Hand built Ceramics. Fee $125 which includes all materials, studio fees and firing.

Centerstage: 9:00 Drama Queen, the all-girl band that opened last summer for Kansas and Peter Framton at the End-of-Summer Jam, are playing this Saturday. They are a great rock-and-roll cover band playing everything from Heart to Led Zepplin. Show time is 9pm and tickets are $6.
Muncie Children's Museum: Peanut Butter: Oils in Foods
Conduct an experiment getting the oil out of nuts to make peanut butter. Then, try the peanut butter on crackers.

Mitchell Place Gallery: celebration of African American Life and History on February 6 from 2-6pm. The celebration will feature music by the Spoonful as well as gospel and poetry by Traci Anderson, Beth Leavell Davis, Cynth’ya Reed and Judy Mayes. In addition there will be a performance of Spoken Word and Hip Hop Poetry by FreeDumb University of Indianapolis. Food will be served and the first 75 visitors will receive a ticket for a free dinner at Uncle Monte’s Soul Food restaurant to be used anytime. The Sunday celebration as well as the exhibit are free and open to the public. First Merchants Bank is the sponsor of this event for the second year in a row.
